Re: Price at local Value City Store

(...) I live in Southern Indiana, just a few minutes north of Lousiville KY. The value city has only a few lego sets. But they all seam cheap/ I was thinking of buying that set to make peasants for my Castle themed Kingdom. I haven't checked any of (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jan-00, to lugnet.western)

Re: 6746 & 6706 sighted at KB Toys

My wife, a preschool teacher, had gotten a mall gift certificate for Christmas, and was in search of Adventurers; normally I avoid KB like the plague. I just came across those two, realized they looked a bit old, and figured I'd see if anyone wanted (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.western)

Price at local Value City Store

At my local value city store they have a wild west pack that has a playstage and two sets. It is priced at 6.99 (I think or 7.99.) I am a castle guy mostly but is that a good price? It comes with a cart some horses and a total of six people. Tony (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.western)

  6746 & 6706 sighted at KB Toys

I'm admittedly new and not a conneseur of the western themes to be sure, but if these two are rare or desired at all, let it be known that I saw 'em at the local KBToys this evening and am willing to pick 'em up & send 'em your way. They were priced (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.western)

I've got a few good heads you could use for Confederate soldiers in mind. An obvious choice is the guy with the black beard (red Imperial guards with tricornes, Fright Knight with silverball armor). Sparks' head would work pretty well, I think. (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.general)

  Uniforms and Multiforms

I am a Civil War Re-enactor. I also have a few LEGO sets lying about. That's the reason I stumbled into this site. The advantage of Mini-figs in their respective armies is there isn't a GREAT amount of detail to worry about. Who cares if they are (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.western)

I have never seen a 3225 for sale in the US or Canada at a store that wasn't directly operated by TLC. That may change but it seems to be the case now. In europe there are stores that sell it though. That set deserved to be run longer. It had a very (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.general)
