Hi everybody - The Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club had its second show last weekend, June 27-29, at the Train Collectors' Association National Convention. The convention was held at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, IL. We had a wonderful (...) I never understood why people leave this place to take breathers until this week, but believe me when I say I need a BIG one. The problems, the garbage here is just (...) Joel, I really loved your layout for the show! The building architecture was really very nice, but it's the little details I enjoyed the most: the billboard ads, the women in skirts, the gaggle of nuns, the cobblestone in the park, the mods on those (...) About the "Milwaukee Color", I've always seen similarities between Milwaukee and my other waterfront town built mostly in the 19th century, Troy. Sweet model Joel! You may want to consider changing the way you connect the horizontal railings to uprights using pirate hook hands jammed into short pieces of technic tubing. I did this on the 2nd version of my SD-90 and you can compare to the (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains.org.niltc)
