It all started two or three years ago, when I met Karl Gunther of the Sky
Train Corp. at a H & R Train Show. He had a small LEGO display that he built
of the Sky Train at the show. We got to talking about how it works and how we
could make a working model. After the show allot of time went by with no
communication. Then about three month ago we crossed paths again and got back
on track. So I started working on a design from proprietary plans and pictures
that he supplied me with and between getting a club(LTC) together and working
on my layout, oh yes and working 40+ hours for $, I made this first working
model. I hope to go to a standard 6 wide track on my next model so it can turn
corners. But then I will have to go a 8 wide track housing and 8 wide car. I
think I will have to modify 9v track to do this using 9v motors (remove center
ties so the car can hang). Karl will have to buy the track, I’m not cutting my
tracks!:)
That how this started, who knows where this will go?
