Great posts( was Re: Apathy? (was: WAMALUG's GATS Layout was a huge success!)

I hate "me too" posts but what an excellent post. If we ever get to excluding people who love the brick just because they love it in a different way, we've failed.   Possible get together?

It appears that I will be in Seattle all next week. Jeff, Well, I am looking at the pictures now, I have been severely behind on e-mail, etc. From what I have seen so far, it is awesome, the big crane is mind-blowing. Great job everyone!   Apathy? (was: WAMALUG's GATS Layout was a huge success!)

Why has there been such apathy towards Wamalug's train shows? In the past month, there have been a total of nine messages from non-members about our setups. There has been absolutly no discussion, no critiques, and very little praise. Do you all (...)   NGLTC at the 2000 Piedmont Division Train Show

I just got word today that the local NMRA has room for our club at their show this March. They didn't give me much notice (less than 12 days) but I'm scrambling to put together a small layout for the show. I expect the layout to be smaller than (...)   WAMALUG's GATS Layout was a huge success!

As you may've heard, WAMALUG displayed a layout at The Great American Train Show held over the weekend in Gaithersburg, Maryland. It was a *huge* success, and we tied for Third place (out of seven or so). We had one of the largest crowd draws, with (...)
