Amy & All,

How'd the tables work? How 'bout the trolly?

Tables went up without a hitch (if you don't count the lag from Scott being
a bit held up) in very respectable time.

Indeed. I had to wait for Lynn to get out of work (Long story) and we hit
some bad rush hour traffic and construction zones on 131, which was just
plain awful. I was surprised all the tables were up and ready to go when I
got there, about 5:00PM EST.

Trolley  (note the e, it's not a UK shopping cart :-)) worked flawlessly,
Steve has put together a very reliable and rugged system/program. Added a lot.

Awesome job, Steve. That was really something to watch.

On another note, hats off to Peter for pulling together the blurbsheets on
various buildings and features. They really added a lot.

Yes, excellent idea. That was from a lot of feedback from Novi, as a good
number of people asked what building is this.

We used full page sheet protectors turned sideways with the holed area on
top, then folded that area over and used the splash guard clips to hold them
on. No messy tape and a very neat appearance. We also put a few "look but do
not touch" signs on the layout using the same technique. Way better than our
taped efforts.

You can see these in a few pics in various folders... here's one

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=210097

(Scott's hauptbahnhof)...

What in the world is a hauptbahnhof?

Note for next time, make the logo bigger... Peter had a muddy image to work
from.

I sent a better logo to Peter yesterday.

Thanks Peter! Highly recommended to other clubs if you're not doing this
already, it builds interest.

Indeed.

Also we did a "can you spot this" which was fun for those that realised we
were doing it. Put it on a few of the signs and the list was also on our
flyer but few people were aware. As suggested, maybe next time we do an
easel ala GMLTC.

Right.

Great show overall, best yet, IMNSHO, not that I have many, really.

Scott S.
