(...) Ok folks, it's time to start really planning this. I'd like to see a huge 12v layout created which can run several trains at once. I plan on bringing at least as much track as I brought to BricksWest, which was enough for a loop with a siding (...) (...) I have tons of gray-era 12v track that I can bring (probably around 150 pieces of straight and 150 curved) and several right and left points both remote and manual. Plus if more remote points are needed, I know where I can get some MISB. I (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) Like last year we can at least put one through the town/train layout.I have a couple of buildings that my monorail goes through that I plan to bring.I am up to 190 long straights so we can do a HUGE display.I would love to even run track down (...) (...) I've had some good response to this which is great. I do have a question about how much space we will have. I was noticing that the train room is a smaller room this year. If our space won't be too big, I will probably reduce the track I bring (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jun-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) Tom Cook and I discussed the train rooms this past weekend. Train will get 2 rooms, since they're smaller this year. I believe the 9v layout will be in one room and the 12v right across the hall. So there would be plenty of room for a 12v (...) (...) Great. It sounds like we will be able to have a pretty extensive layout. Also, I think we can accommodate 4.5v as part of the 12v. We can set up some sidings without conducting rails so the 4.5v signals can be used. We can also incorporate a (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.events.brickfest)

More precisely, the room for the 12V layout is 21.5 x 27 feet. The 4.5V layout may be combined with the classic sets display, depending on size requirements and interest. ----- Original Message ----- From: Greg Kramer <kramersinva@yahoo.com> To: (...) 8 days to BrickFest! I don't think I'll get a track plan made up ahead of time, but I think it will be fun to develop a track plan when we get there (and expand if some of the track doesn't show up until later). What I would ask is that people (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

Frank, I haven't found my 7864 yet. I don't have a 110-220 step-up transformer for it anyway, but if I find the 7864, I'll buy one.
