Looks like this past weekend was a busy one for LTCs and LUGs, well not to be left out the North Georgia LEGO Train club presented a layout at the Atlanta Greenberg Toy & Train show. With regard to the shrinking question: I found 3 logos of the B & M-- one of which was an actual silohuette: (URL) even if the lines couldn't stand up to miniaturization, the silohuette version could be employed instead.
