The fact that the shows are already being put on is not direct 'support',
but it is a *huge* boost to LTCs.

Cons are good, but people don't go to cons to see displays (I think).
Brikwars would be good for cons. Or any other brickgame.
It makes sense: make the display fit the venue.

True. How about another approach: play to the strength of the brick.
Massive displays are cool and good, but lego bricks are best for building.
So incorporate building into the display. This worked for MichLTC at the
Novi GATS (although it was unplanned) (drat! there go the LTC's, taking the
lead again). And having 'kids areas' is potentially good, too (another LTC
thingy!).
Here's a challenge for the next MichLTC show: Lunar Mining Colony. :)
