<snip> (...) I know that the NGLTC (not to step on toes, James) has some that I thought were hilarious when I joined NGLTC a few months ago. -Sometimes, on a little side track, there is a damsel tied to the tracks with a man in black and a top hat (...) (...) Wonderful layout! Most areas were densely populated with little things going on all over- it's great to see all those figs, and every one doing something. As for specifics, I particularly love the university, the brick trees, and that killer (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

Well, I finally got around to checking out the SCLTC pics. Wow. Really nice. A little frustrating to navigate, but excellent detail and overview shots. Some things I particularly noticed and liked: The rope stanchions around the layout. Very sharp. (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, lugnet.trains)

(...) A few months ago when a class of 5th graders visited my home, I created a scavenger hunt of several things to look for in my home layout. It removes some of the impromptu "Oh, look at that", but certainly gave the kids a sense of (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains.org)
