9V train speed controller for powering a code pilot?

Hello everybody, Has anyone ever tried using a 9V train speed controller for powering a code pilot? I'd like to use this setup to in order to create little programs for a 9V train. Eric, Is there anyway for you to also gather input from "club-less" LEGO train enthusists? While I don't belong to a club or do exhibitions, I do have my own home layout for both myself and my children. And I too have a big investment in 9V gear. I (...) (...) Thank you for your promt answer! What is a step-up/step-down transformer? I am getting the transformer and tracks, but I guess I will use it on the 9V track as I have more tracks for 9V.   6 wheels for 9V train motor

Hi, While converting my 7755 (heavy diesel shunter) to 9V I was disappointed by the loss of the two matching 6 wheel assemblies. Then I noticed the small holes on the sides of the 9V motor, right in the middle, at the level of the other wheels. So I (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains)
