    New Tank Car —Rich Thompson
   I have been playing around with the possibilities of The Droid Escape Pod (set 7106). The 1/4 round side walls make a great tank car, silo, lighthouse or rocket ship shape.      (...) Nice start, but lose the wagon plate if you can. US prototypes don't have much other than a tank, maybe (but not always) a center spine, and some mount points at the ends for the trucks.        (...) _modern_ US prototypes (those more recent than DOT 103 10 000 gal tank cars) don't have a separate frame.
