| | | I have been playing around with the possibilities of The Droid Escape Pod (set 7106). The 1/4 round side walls make a great tank car, silo, lighthouse or rocket ship shape. US prototypes don't have much other than a tank, maybe (but not always) a center spine, and some mount points at the ends for the trucks. They end up looking quite flimsy. I totally agree that (...) Older tank cars did have separate frames, and DOT 103's lasted until quite recently (and still do exist, just not in interchange (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.trains)
