I think it may actually be legal requirement for all locomotives to have
yellow noses here in Britain. I can recall no modern locomotive that does
not have a bright yellow nose, but then again, I'm almost certain to proved
wrong :).
For anyone creating modern British trains, a yellow nose is compulsory!
