Hey, that is a great switcher. I noticed that it had an 8/5 wide set up too.[1]
I think the mix of 5 wide hoods with 8 wide cabs looks great. Unfortunately, I
think that this is going to make 1x2-center-stud plates harder to come by.
It looks like the magnet is attached to the frame of the engine and not the
bogie. Does this cause problems when negotiating curves?
By the way, Ben it is great that you announce these posts, but should we ask
questions? I am guessing that you are announcing the new models because the
creators don't frequent LUGNET, and if they do not read LUGNET, then there
really isn't any reason to ask about the details. Just checking.
