   (...) Indeed, that's right: I've bought that set recently for future MOCs, but there must have been other sets with the same part before. I owned thes palm trunk brick in black since years. My guess so far was, it might have been another version of (...) (24 years ago, 10-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

   (...) Thank's Masayuki, you are right! I bought the Space Shuttle 8480 years ago and forgot about that brick. So 8880 came with the trunks in grey only.
