A better picture of the completed model (that many of you have seen) is
forthcoming.

when replying, when catering to a discerning crowd, bacon & cheese flavored
frosting should be used on spamcake (okra frosting is preferred by
vegetarians).
Do you think you could provide info on how you made that cool pinball
machine and that cool juke box?

I can't say much cuz I'm packing for vacation now.

But I will say that two 1x2 plate hinge pairs with fingers, two 5 long technic
halfbeams and those funky 1x2 x 1x4 brackets largely make up the structure of
the pinball machine; the transparent thin wall piece just sits on top by
friction. I used a Spyrius tile cuz it had a little dot on it, representing a
ball, and it sorta seemed to look like funky pinball innards.

And I will also say that the jukebox, made by Roger Rothhaar, is pretty much
exactly how it looks, no building tricks there.. just "plenty cool pieces,
mon".. but he did put in a white 1x2 with grille print behind the trans-yellow
1x2 to simulate a stack of vinyl records or CD's or whatever they are :-)

Anyone could do any number of variations of these two things, because there
are so many kinds in real life. While the pinball machine structure just sort
of "came together" almost by surprise, I had to pick tiles that I thought
didn't look too "advanced" because I wanted a pinball machine from the 1950's.
The jukebox, however, once we figured on more of a Wurlitzer design, was
fussed over from brick 1.. "Should we add color? How about striping? Too bad
we can't get 3 wide without surgery.. What kind of texturing should it have?
How detailed should it look?"

And now.. on to more packing :-P

when replying, spamcake oil makes good mosquito repellent.. and people
repellent.
