Dean my advice to you is not to (try to) improve on my design... but to go
forth and do a car that's not been done in large quantities before.

Being new to trains, (1 Year on the 29th. 4565 B-Day prezzy from wife) I've gone
from following directions to variations on the directions to MOC's. I have a cute
little tanker that I did back before we pooled our LEGO. (My wife has much more
then I) Pieces were hard to come by then. But now, with our lego being sorted and
put in trays MOC life is growing by leaps and bounds. The Inverted Hopper only
took me about 2 hours from start to finish. I was quite surprised. I'm finally
starting to think in LEGO terms again. My next project is a saskatchewan wheat
car. I think I will try to stay on models being Canadian for the time being since
I haven't seen any of them on the net yet.

Once we have our new train/town tables created I'll have a full time play space of
4' by 7'6" (phase one) and about 4' by 10' with a small L effect jutting out
another 2'6" by 2'6". (phase two)

My wife and I have also started an AFOL Lego Club in Vancouver, BC Canada. (See
web site at bottom)

Actually LUGNET is responsible for my wife going from collector to builder and
letting me at her pieces. GRIN.

I've also wanted to say for awhile how pleased I am that the people of LUGNET
(Users & Members etc.) are so friendly and enjoy sharing their skills.

Thanks all!

Dean
