Do any of you like using this flexible track from LEGO?  I just can't bring
myself to try it.  I haven't seen it in person, but from the pictures I've seen
it appears to me to be more geared towards kids than rivet counters like Larry
and Cale... :P

Are any of you using it in your layouts?  If so, do you like it?

(...) I was thinking of using it with foil tape put on top to make a second, larger radius. But I'm hoping that won't be necessary, soon. My biggest complaint is that the trains run very rough over it... every wheelset jounces at every joints which (...) (13 years ago, 26-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I've never tried it in a layout (I don't have a layout) but I always saw its chief use as being single bits of track here and there to open up the range of shapes in a full layout. Need a tiny bit of straight, use a flex. Need a tiny curve, (...) (13 years ago, 26-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)

(...) We used it extensively in the recent layout by Byggepladen at LEGO Fan Weekend. I am not that fond of it, but we didn't have any incidents, which could be attributed to flex track. I would prefer that we only used it in sections of one or two (...) (13 years ago, 28-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)
