Hi Rob,
I often visit Lugnet Trains, and as you also know, there are a lot of AFOL clubs
around the world all having there own website and eventually other websites
where trains are discussed in their own language. see:
http://legotreinforum.forum2go.nl/
But to please you and all other train fans, im willing to post the message i
post on the above mentioned site also on Lugnet- Trains.
I didnt build much last year, but here i go with a few pictures i posted
recently on Brickshelf: Container flatbed car able to carry 2 20-Foot containers
or 1 40-Foot container.
Models are build after pictures i found in a model railroad magazine.
I have now 11 container wagons in the colors green & blue (Belgian railroad -
NMBS) and red (German railroad - DB)
building instructions :
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ludo-soete/Train-Cars/Flatbed-Cars/sgns_v2.mpd
Here a pair of pictures of my cereal wagon.
The idea comes from the models in 7 wide build by Helos see:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=403549,
mine are 6 wide with a 4 wide base as you can see.
Note: The logo is PRINTED on the bricks.
see also: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=483671 for pictures
of a new train station.
Regards and enjoy my little contribution.
