(...) For a more easy string build trolly wire, you could try the "String with End Studs"-part. When I use this part, I turn the end studs a bit to get some tension in the strings. (14 years ago, 11-Oct-10, to lugnet.trains)

Have folks done trolley wire or catenary? I've seem some folks that did some using the Maerklin parts but I'm not looking for functional, just something that looks good. I think I have a fairly good design for the poles. trying to decide if tying (...) (14 years ago, 11-Oct-10, to lugnet.trains)

(...) As a long term die-hard fan of 9V equipment I have to agree here 100%: The new motors rock. They are extremely fast, very strong, surprisingly "energy" efficient.
