I have uploaded several images of the new Buffers as they appear in LDD on the Trains-n-Town web site along with a story and discussion thread. These are the same Buffers that briefly appeared in PAB. The nice thing about LDD is you can zoom in and (...) (16 years ago, 22-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Could they have North on the left, and south on the right, thus when two come together, each pole would be up against its opposite? This is the only way I can see it working, but I'm not sure what their side on strength would be. (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains)

(...) That's a cool idea, Dean! I hadn't thought of that possibility. It seems like that sort of system would have backward-compatibility issues with the past generation of magnetic couplers, though. If you brought a new mag coupler in contact with (...) (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains)
