Really nice work Anthony must have cost you a fortune in cheesebricks but
the final effect is really good, Im probably more inclined to use half
cylinders and stay 6 wide but this look great,I must admit though I always
admire Ben Benekes 7 wide work .I better pull my finger out and finish my
European Steam loco I started a year and a half ago, top stuff keep the
trains rolling.

PS: When are you going to do a diesel or electric.

Thanks much! To be honest it didnt cost quite the fortune some may think. It
was pricey, but it only cost me about $15 for all the cheese slopes I purchased,
and I didnt use them all. Ive used half cylinders before on my streamlined
Dreyfuss Hudson Tequila Sunrise, it works well. Ben is directly responsible
for inspiring me to build my previous pacific class 7-wide, and because of that,
this one as well. Ive been wanting to do a European style steamer for a while,
time will tell if I ever do it.
Ive no real desire to do an electric locomotive, no offense to their fans but I
find them, in general, to be boring and rather ugly. As far as diesels, there
are many and much more talented builders whove been doing a fantastic job
representing diesels (and electrics), so I dont feel theres anything I could
build that wouldnt be pathetic by comparison. However, after building LEGOs
BNSF Ive thought about
modifying it to match a company I grew up with around my neighborhood.
Thanks again!
