what makes a good engine shed? —Ondrew Hartigan
Hey all, It’s been kinda quiet on here lately so I figured I’d ask an open-ended question. What makes a good engine shed? What I mean by this is; what should it contain, what should it look like and more importantly what makes them such a popular (...) (17 years ago, 20-Aug-07, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Just looked at your link after posting my previous message, the clerestory roof is another interesting way of doing it. Tim (17 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) For some inspiration on a large scale, I thought I'd post some links to video clips that show some of the current GE Locomotive manufacturing 'shed' in Erie, Pennsylvania... worth watching just to see the engines moving around by gantry crane (...)
