It's anyone's guess as to what the new set will cost.  I'm guessing around
$150
in the US and not more than $200.  Stuff like wagon bases, wheelsets,
couplers,
and electrical parts are all expensive, so the more of that there is, the
higher
the price will be.

The set is supposed to cost about $100.  It doesn't contain a motor (it will
need to be purchased separately) so there are no actual electrical parts in
the box.
