How does LEGO still not know?

Hello all you Train Heads

I just got off the phone with Customer service; I was calling about the
well-known defective train wheels. Well it seems that the people in customer
service still know nothing about this issue. I have personally called in several
times about this issue and have had some wheels replaced. But it seems every
time it’s a new thing and no one has ever heard of it. One person said they had
worked there for many years and this was the first time they had heard of this
issue.

So my plan is to make sure that someone high on the ladder knows and tells
everyone about this. I don’t know what goes on in LEGO but it seems like one
department is not talking to the other. So I am putting the word out to others
that have bad train wheels to call in and place a complaint. Maybe we can flood
the call center with this complaint and make are voice heard. Or maybe its just
a pipe dream, thinking that we the AFOL's have any say. But I think if they have
a complaint department that they would want any kind of feed back from the user
base.

Another side note is if you need wheels replaced it would be best to get it done
before there are no more Old Gray wheels left. I had asked if the replacement
wheels were going to be the Old Gray and the Rep seemed sure that they had a
supply of Old Gray wheels for replacements.

Sorry for the long post/rant but I think the word needs to get out.

Dave

(...) I have had the same response from customer service ( or at least a lady on the phone at s@H ). They seem to have no memory of the events that happend the day before when you rang and spoke to the same person to make sure you get the same help. (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)
