I will trade new (which I have) for old... Contact me if interested. I'd
even go 3 for 2 as I have extra magnets, or add cash.

I've cut 9V track (to fit my plan).  I don't know how stable it would be with
all the ties cut out of it.  You might have to sacrifice a 6*16 baseplate and
glue both to it. (or a 8*16).  I really don't know.

GMLTC has cut all the central ties away from a straight and with it
mounted to baseplates it is fine. Not that I advocate cutting, I am
aesthetically opposed.
