Hi John,

what is the advantage of Ross’ design against a design like this (without cutting parts)?



Is the friction reduced? Or is there no special thought behind it? For most of my own designs of trucks I have ended up with a design like shown above and it works fine (although with more friction than the 9V wheel blocks should usually have).

You can even realize it in a similar design with sidwards sliding for 3-axle designs and a frame in any colour you like.
