It is possible for force them through the hole; after all that is how they
got there in the first place.
It is a bit hard to do and might need some special tooling, but possible. I
hate to do it myself.

| (...) Thanx for the answer, I have succeeded now. I first tried to remove two broken off magnets (only the part that connect to the hole was present, and I had to remove these to insert complete magnets from another car). I gave up on this after (...) (22 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.trains)
