Hello,
I am new to the trains section of Lugnet.
I recently bought some second hand train stuf from the seventies
(blue track era) including some trainbases with wheels on metal
axles and a blue and red magnet.
Some have the magnets broken off or even missing, while others
have the axles bended. I thought about taking the best bases
(with the nonbended axles) and equip thise with the magnets
from the bases with benden axles.
Does anybody know how I can remove the magnets from the trainbase
without causing damage (the magnets including the red or blue
holder, thus not seperating the actual magnet from the holder).

| It is possible for force them through the hole; after all that is how they got there in the first place. It is a bit hard to do and might need some special tooling, but possible. I hate to do it myself. S Niels Karsdorp <nkp.nkp@hetnet.nl> wrote in (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-03, to lugnet.trains)
