  100-Ton Hopper Cars
 
Greatings, I recently completed a MOC of 100-Ton Hopper car. I modeled it after a "Proto 1000 Series" HO scale kit I borrowed from my brother. I wasn't able to get the ribbing to line up in the middle of the car and I think the wheels could benefit (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains) !

(...) Me either. My other concern with the click hinges is that they wear out. There is abrading that happens every time you move them. While this is true for any part that has moving surfaces in contact, it's especially bad with these. Some of my (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)

Wow, I think your right! And I think their at both ends of the loco? The buffers do look square, look at the same image, way down at the bottom... the image of the roof popping off the loco, I think it has square buffers! It looks to be a new train (...)
