    Train company logos —Sonnich Jensen
Hi all! Does anyone know where one can find logos for trains companies? I was looking for RZD and EVR's logos, but not much luck. EVR had a logo with the E in a circle, but I found only the the "r" logo. Their pages do not have the logo like DB or (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Check out (URL) , the European Railway server. Larry, perhaps add this to the sidebar on LUGNET? One of the best reference sites for anything European. (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Nice find! (...) I can't (and shouldn't) add it to the LUGNET front page but I HAVE added it to the lugnet.trains sidebar. As always I welcome additions, corrections, suggestions, and so forth. (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Speaking of train logo's, I've been impressed by all the many logos that the LEGO train clubs have done--their take on actual railroad company logos.       (...) The CN Maple Leaf logo (pre wet noodle) is a fine logo to use but technically not a fallen flag. Ditto the CP Beaver (pre black pie wedge). (...) Many of those are due to J2.           Re: Train company logos —John Neal
(...) Au contrare, JT! In fact, I credit *you* for the whole idea of adopting a fallen flag as an LTC logo as you first did with the Southern Railroad logo for the North Georgia LEGO Train Club.         (...) Hmmm. Their first logo wasn't based on a FF as far as I know. I'm pretty sure that yours and the GMLTC's predate their Spokane, Portland, and Seattle one. Why did you guys choose to use a FF? JOHN (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

It would be nice to have the origins of the LTCs written. I find myself telling the tale of how "it all started" when I'm visiting other clubs etc. Like our ancestors way back in the verbal history days. Reminds me of the scene in the last MAD MAX (...)    For those that might not know a fallen flag just means a logo from a company that is no longer in business. It might also mean just a retired logo. Many railroads have merged etc and create new logos after the merge too... (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)
