    New Engine Shed —Bert Waters
In Larry's transcript of the keynote he wrote: <SNIP SNIP> Last bit:it has ben said we have neglected this or that ir the other hting in trains… so we did 8 wide… JUST KIDDING. We have instead decided to do structures… there is an engine shed that (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Engine Shed —John Neal
(...) It is a wonderful train structure-- by far the best TLC has ever produced, at least since the Retrostation. My only comment to Brad was that I wish they had decided to chose *dark red* instead of red to simulate the brick. That would have (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Engine Shed —Chris Leach
(...) I agree with John..from the pictures I have seen the shed is a decent design from Lego but would have looked MUCH better in dark red...Besides dark red is my new favorite color to make town/train buildings out of..hee hee (URL) Chris (...)           Re: New Engine Shed —John Neal
(...) practically had to stand on your head to build it in dark red because of the limited availability of the color-- releasing this shed in dark red would have gone a long way to proliferating the color better. But all would be forgiven if dark (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

Is that a pneumatic tee connector in the blue vise? (21 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Engine Shed —Chris Leach
(...) John....Well dark red in bulk 400 buckets would be nice but not as nice as regular bulk packs!(One can dream can't he? :-) ) Ya I had a tough time getting all those bricks but I think the building came out pretty good...the question is was it (...)           Re: New Engine Shed —Jake McKee
(...) I don't know if I agree. I think that the regular red was a good choice. If dark red was used against a black roof and dark gray highlights along the side, the whole structure would have looked washed out and dull. Of course, I guess we will (...)        (...) Jake ,send me a copy of the set and I'll use some of my dark red bricks and let you know how it came out:-) You have to admit the building I did looks alot better in dark red then it would have in regular red ...however I have mostly lt. gray (...)        (...) No, Chris... we all like your building! Really! (don't we???) In fact I hear someone is going to copy it! Well, er, they were until they went to BL and saw that there is no dark red left at all! (21 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Engine Shed —Jason J. Railton
(...) It does look brilliant. A dark red version may be asking a lot, but if I could just drop my own hint... I hope they make an extra lot of those 1x4x5 windows in WHITE, and make them into a service pack. I'm afraid the black ones just aren't as (...)         Re: New Engine Shed —Joe Franco
