Re: 5 things I would like to see from TLC/Lego Direct...

(...) Minority ? You would be surprised how many AFOL's are much more like you. I'm sure there is a overwhelming "lurking" majority with limitid resources out there. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.events.brickswest, lugnet.trains)

(...) Oops, sorry for venting there. I guess I didn't realize I had such a sore spot there myself. I'm just sometimes frustrated by the really cool things other AFOLs demonstrate is possible but I can't achieve for time/money reasons. (...) Don't (...) (...) <major snippage> (...) Yeeeowch. Ok, sore spot, got it. This is why I asked. (I don't build many trains you see...) But really do you think you're a majority or a minority of the LEGO buyer?   Re: 5 things I would like to see from TLC/Lego Direct...

(...) All AFOLs aren't created equal. I'm an AFOL who's trying to keep to a budget and manage my personal free time between my family and my bricks. If I have to buy three 10020s so I can build a proper B-unit (i.e. three gray port holes per side (...) (22 years ago, 14-Feb-03, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.events.brickswest, lugnet.trains)

Re: Good idea! (was Re: Can't we all just get along?)

(...) What we really need is robots to comb the surface and rake "random" patterns into the surface to help make it look nice. But I do think some sort of rail-based transport would be the way to get around up there once enough infrastructure is in (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains)

  Reproduction Stickers available!

These include stickers for some 12V train sets (7740 and 7725), a model team set (5540) and town set 6371. All stickers are on the same color backing as (...)
