To the train crew especially, and the build folk as well, Well, it'll seem anti-climactic to try to show off my MOCs in the shadow of Eric Brok's magnificent Dutch Railway, and the GMLTC's startling show pics. Nice work. That is a very simple solution to the decoupling problem. Most other attempts (add this is what I was thinking of doing) pry the cars appart. Does your decoupler work reliably even with lightweight cars; for example, empty flat bed cars? (...) (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

(...) Thanks. I love elegant solutions too. Yes, it works -exceedingly- reliably on every car I've tried, from the lightest (two wheelsets and a plate), to my heaviest loco.
