Yes, many!  Adtranz is a very common supplier, Matra has a VAL 256 at
O'Hare, and a 206 at Orly in Paris.  A few airports have Otis HOVAIR
shuttles, including CVG and Detroit's new McNamanamnamnamnra terminal.  In
fact I rode that one for about 3 hours tonight.

I seem to remember seeing pictures of the Paris subways with tires. If
I'm recalling right, they had horizontal tires also which run against
the walls of a guideway.

The Paris system is really such crap.  It's really ugly, including Metor
(line 14).  For a really good example Montreal's Metro cannot be beat.
