(...) Set 4551 and 4563 have in common a rare front cab piece. Same for 4558 and 4559, although in different colors IIRC. The bottom plates also give a clue : yellow -> 4559, grey -> 4558, red 4565 most likely. (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.trains)

Can anyone point me to any automobile tranporter rail car MOC(s)? I could swear I saw some on brickshelf, small ones in red, but I can't retrace my steps and the keywords didn't turn anything up. I got a few hits on older mocs in this newsgroup, but (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.trains)

I have a strong urge to think positive thoughts here: I would be delighted if Shop at Home decides to sell the blue passenger coach and Conductor Max and Engineer Charlie seperately. (...) Yes, the elevators work. One of them is set up with the grain bins dumping back down into the feeder bin so that it can run unattended and actually shift "grain" (1x1 round bricks). Jake, I'm really pleased to see these sets offered at retail. However I am a little disappointed that the blue passenger coach is only available with 4534 as I have already purchased several My Own Train engines and cars through Lego Direct. So I (...)
