Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) I'm surprised no one has commented on the incomplete color schemes. The cars of Sante Fe passenger cars match the color scheme of the engine (War Bonnet). These cars are missing the yellow and red stripes along the sides. Not big issue, mind (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: May I publish documentatino of the 4548?

(...) Agreed. Ask them! Typically, though, publishing things that you reverse engineer is a lot less likely to cause trouble than releasing information that you obtained from the source. Presumably you've reverse engineered the controller? (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) Interesting. I called Shop at Homes yesterday (7/3). When I inquired about either car, I was told that they wouldn't be available until sometime in September. The woman I spoke with sounded sceptical about September availability. After your (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: May I publish documentatino of the 4548?

I should add that it is not the exact schematic, the switch for selecting direction will not be in it. The switch for selecting the voltage will be there (but not as TLC has made it, quite funny way). So if I add the text - the schematic can be (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Products from BricWorx now available

Thanks Mike, I don't even want to think about adding up the hours spent on this! And while I'm re:ing, a shout out to BramL for his work and posts on MegaPOV's post_process { find_edges{} } info. It totally made this book possible. THANKS! Also I've (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.brickshops, lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)

Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) The baseplates will definitely be the old 28-studs ones. Lego Direct does not make new moulds as we know.... Take a look at the wheel arrangement and you will notice them to be placed far away from the waggon face sides. That is because the (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: May I publish documentatino of the 4548?

(...) My guess would be no, but you're asking the wrong people. TLC are the people you should be asking. ROSCO (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

May I publish documentatino of the 4548?

Hi all! I am working on a page about the 4548 controller from the time when we discussed changes to it (to give less power). I just wonder, is there a problem to publish the schematic of it? It would be easier to use that in my page to explain how (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) I like 36 studs long (for 6-wide) coaches but I admit that 40 _looks_ better and appears more real. Functionally, I find 36 works good so I stick with it. __Kevin Salm__ ....A novice with Lego Trains.... (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) Nice, very nice! While I love the special attention given this TRAINS/TOWN line by LEGO, WHERE ARE the other popular themes of CASTLE, PIRATES and SPACE headed!! It seems to me that all the folk at LEGO Direct love their TRAINS/TOWN and that (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: First NBLTC show 29/06/02

(...) Excellent stuff. As you say, it's a start, and the cutting and bridges are impressive. Keep it up lads. (URL) H (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Hello Train-heads! The North British Lego Train Club held it's first (modest) public show on 29th June. You can find pictures and a report here, with further information about the Club. www.nbltc.org We've got a way to go before we can put on shows (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: S@H Summer Catalog

(...) The barn was defenitely built to appeal to the train layout mostly because there are 9V tracks next to it. I would also say that we are their best customers because Trains is one of their best themes. Ever since LEGO killed Town and City, (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) I called US S@H inquiring about set #10025, and the sales rep said: "It looks like they will be available next week." The scanned catalog said #10022 will be available in September so I didn't ask about that one. Looks like S@H will receive (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I'd think so! With the bulk ideas, & the new SFSC trains it looks to be that way! Josh (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) It is an interesting idea, the multiple-model sets: they will allow plenty more room for customizations, not to mention the fact that the leftovers will surely be put to use elsewhere. The first atteempt with the locos must have been (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Engine shed design

After having seen the shed shown on the LEGO website in the trains corner and discussing this with some friends, I decided I should "have a go" at it too. My inspiration came from the LEGO design, combined with an old building at Hengelo (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)
