(...) Cool models Robin (+ great pictures KK)! Details that caught my eyes have been the bufferless front end of the Santa Fe. And another really great idea is the exhaust in SNOT of the Alco engine. Simple but very effective. These have been my (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Rio Grande SD40 MOC version 3 (and then there were two)

(...) Brilliant work James - This is an example of how a prototype can be modelled 6-wide to great effect without the added length of the (dare I say easier) 8-wide option. Cab windows are the key - our eyes are always drawn to the cab windows which (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jun-02, to lugnet.trains)

Updated the neat images on the front page

I was so taken by Kevin's 1592 that I asked him to upload a small pic somewhere so I could use it on the neat images part of the front page. He did and I did. :-) Enjoy! I didn't have the heart to take Ross's steamer down yet as it's pretty nifty. (22 years ago, 27-Jun-02, to lugnet.trains)
