I have to disagree. A kid wanting to play doesn't care if the set is
numbered 1 or 1,000,000. They could order the set from S@H for the MSRP.
Only collectors truly care about getting set number 1, or original releases,
or MISB, or whatever. And only collectors would pay these outrageous prices.

Compared to their bottom line that's far below their accounting rounding error. In fact I think it's terrible (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains)
