Nice job, John.  This may be the first honest comparison between 6-wide and
8-wide models.  Since there has been a debate on how many more bricks it
takes to go to 8-wide, could you give an estimate as to how many pieces it
took to build this version?  Maybe we can settle that argument once and for all.

Thanks, Andreas-- you asked for it, you got it, Toyota;-)

As for brick count, well, I couldn't even guess.  I did *a lot* of SNOT work which
is really a lot of monkey business that drives up piece count.  Comparing mine with
the 10020 in a way other than by looks alone is a little like comparing apples and
oranges.  I can say this-- if I were to convert my own MOC to 6 wide, I really
wouldn't reduce the piece count dramatically at all.  The profile would remain the
same, and only a few bricks would be eliminated widthwise (many would simply be
reduced *in size*, so that wouldn't affect quantity).

Piece count IMO is a non-issue in the whole "debate"-- it's about a"toyish" look
verses a more prototypical look.  Both have their place, just like Duplo and
Technic.... (did I just compare 6 wide to Duplo?  Not really, since even Duplo is 8
wide;-)
