Hmm... I can't say many more comments that haven't beens said in this
thread already, so I'll just ask some questions.

Are the ribs 1x1x5 bricks?

How firmly is the red end attached?  I see how it is tied in to at the
bottom but what about the top?

How many of these have you built (or do you plan to build)?  Wouldn't it
be cool to have a whole unit train of these at a show?  I have (or soon
will have) enough parts to build at least two of these myself.  Maybe a
bunch of us could get together and build enough for a train and get it
together at some show ( the train summit, brickfest, etc)
