Well, then perhaps you're going to have to change the internals of the
engine a bit to clear the "bogie plate" pin. Many 9V solid frame engines
(4563 main, 4559 main) use arches to clear it.

Well, then perhaps the length isn't going to exactly match. But it will
be very close.

This is Lego, after all. It's MEANT to be experimented with. Did you
even try experimenting before you posted?  Hack a bit before you ask for
help, eh?

yes but wont there be problems with the fact that the 9V motor has a bogie plate built in? also i think they are different sizes. (26 years ago, 20-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)
