The 4.5 V motor is taller that the nub on the 9V motor so any train in which
the 4.5V motor fits the 9V motor will also fit. Actually, you will need to
add bricks to make the 9V motor fit. When adding a 9v motor to set 7720 I
added two 4x4 plates to either end of the motor; with out the plates the
wheels of the 9v motor bump into the plate (6x16 with big hole) upon which
the engine is built.
