Talk... is so very very cheap. Especially when someone else (Todd) is

you're a (shudder) Mac user, but if you had one, you could put it up
there and we'd all be ahhing and oohing.

Larry: I agree! Setting up a website can be difficult, which is why
I choose Macintosh as my publishing platform, and SGI for the server. ;-)
(see; http://baylug.org, http://esperanto.org, http://baker-to-vegas.org,
all made with Macintosh hardware and software. :-)

John Neal: I'll be happy to post your images, or scan your photos if
you'd like some assistance.

Kidding aside: I think discussing OS/platforms is like discussing religion
or politics...it's best done in person, where you can see folks faces and
hear the inflection in their voices. It's far too easy for folks to take
offense at 'what they *thought* you meant'. I've tried many computers (
and even built a couple of my own), and I prefer the Mac. The SGI server
is more a question of using what was offered by a friend, and I'm still
learning the quirks of IRIX. I'm sorry if anyone percieves this as a slam
against whatever system they use. (I respect your right to have a differing
opinion, and I hope you'll return the favor. :-)
