  Re: Discontinued Train Items??

(...) As far as my knowledge of German tells me: the switching rails (4531) are not ("NICHT") discontinued. However, the 4533, 4557 and 4553 are displayed on the flyer. This flyer seems to contain discontinued items. "Auslaufartikel" is kind of like (...) (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

While browsing the galleries at (URL) , stumbled into the forums. Can any of our German speaking friends comment on this message: (2 URLs) translates, it looks like the snow remover car, the crane and the switching rails are being discontinued. But (...)   Re: LEGO Desert Express

(...) John, I'll nit your nit. I think that the curved bricks are too sharply curved to model the curve on the top of the cars in the pictures that HoMa posted. I think the multi plate roof is a very nice work around for some hard to get pieces (...) (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

  New idea for tanker cars..

I bought the Star Wars Escape Capsule of the 2001 series. It came with the for real big quarter cylinder pieces. Two were grey, and the other two had some wierd designes on them. Anyway, back to my idea, get a few of the grey ones, and put them all (...) (24 years ago, 19-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

Hi Jacob, (...) Yes, absolutely! The middle axle moves sidewards while the engine goes through a curve! The axle element has 4 studs in it's middle section. (...) Mechanically, Poling (poleing?? I dunno the spelling) is a way to move a car that is not on the same track as the locomotive.   Re: Track Question

(...) <snip> (...) I did a quick search of my NS rulebooks and I couldn't find anything against poleing. Although I'm sure since we don't carry poles, and like Larry said, most newer cars don't have the pockets, it really dosen't matter. I'm sure if (...) (24 years ago, 19-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)
