RE: More train picturues and MOCs

When I was I germany I noticed these cars with the driver cab. I think it gives the same idea. I saw them in red, white and blue, but never in orange. I would like to build another one with 2 floors , so I will need 3 Clubcars to make a "bigger" (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) AFAIK, it is designed to control trains. In fact, it does not just control the motor, but can also control lights, whistles and trackside objects. -Frank Followups to lugnet.trains (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.trains)

Re: Is it possible to make trains in automation?

Well, I'm looking at a slightly different method. And please note I have no train stuff yet, so none of this has been tried, and isn't likely to be soon... First, I split the layout into "sections" by isolating between track pieces. Then I write a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Trains are fun!

(...) My backorder was with S@H (supposedly through Nov. 15), but I actually got it in the mail yesterday. All set up and running now! :) The problem that I'm now having is that the track is too short for two trains, and they also don't move at the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains)

  RE: Trains are fun!

Hi, I'd been planning to pick up a Freight & Crane Railway for a while, to put around my christmas tree and get started with LEGO trains. After seeing your backorder (I'm not sure from where), I called S@H this morning and ordered a Freight & Crane, (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains)

Connected streets( was: Re: Choose your building site for the train layout.

Nice work, Eric K. One comment... "regular" MR layouts often don't connect all the streets. Since what you are doing is a seris of scenes, you often get better visual separation if you have streets run off the edge of the "map" and not connect to (...)   Re: LEGO is listening! (was...are you listening?)

I want to use RCX or Scout in TRAIN series ASAP, but RCX or Scout is too big and sometimes too complex, I hope TLC can make mini-RCX or microi-Scout for TRAIN series, these two don't need baterry and the power can get from outside: Idea1: Mini-RCX, (...)   Re: More train picturues and MOCs

Well done. Your solutions are elegant. The front window looks great, and it is done very simply. The floating black box is a great solution for creating a diaphragm too. The roof made of plates instead of slopes is a very good compromise. Thanks for (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

Re: More train picturues and MOCs

Dear Sonnich, well done!!! The "nose" of your latest creations is very nice. That shows that realistic looking trains could be build in the "normal" way (No SNOT-technique)!
