(...) Nah, when you've bought so many dupes of train sets for the other parts, train motors are a dime a dozen. I have had both of my double trucked engines double motored from practically the start of my collection (not quite - I bought one each of (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) The time stamp on their camera image doesn't change either. And it thinks the temperature is 1552 Centigrade. It looks like a neat idea, but not good PR to have a non-functional demo. James (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Got NMRA? (was Re: New Interurban/Trolley model, perfect for those downtown scenes)

  Re: More 4 Wides!

(...) Actually, I *tried* running my 14 wides on a G scale layout, but had severe coupling issues (I had tried to make a half LEGO, half Kadee coupler and it wasn't strong enough). I have since purchased G scale trucks that come with arms onto (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Train Purity (was Got NMRA? (was....

(...) Wow, Dan, I am pleased and surprised by your response. For some reason, I got the feeling that the PNLTC would be "pure" to the end, no matter what the outcome (or perhaps yours is a minority voice?). I have a feeling that the sentiments of (...)   Re: Got NMRA? (was Re: New Interurban/Trolley model, perfect for those downtown scenes)

(...) No matter what TLC does, if a third party manufacturer stepped in with a quality product, I would abandon purity in a minute. I don't think I'm the only one either. I think track, wheels, and couplers are the area most ripe for non-TLC (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains.org)
