  Container size and new MOC's

Well, even though I said I wouldn't be making any rolling stock for a while, I made some anyway. I made a flat bed with a truck trailer on it and a box car. The highlights are that both the box car and the trailer have makeshift working doors. (...) (24 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Cleaning LEGO track

Sounds like a great pruduct, but what i've always aimed for was a train that could tug a track cleaner as the last car possibly, and using ONLY lego pieces clean the tracks, i finally got some street cleaner parts level with the track, but they just (...)   Re: Metroliners Rule! Gimmy One!

You do have a website right? i believe i've seen it, i sorta reconize the e-mail. Did you build a large conrail loco? are you the guy with at least two clubcarsfor your metroliner though? Wish i'd been able to buy it at a REGULAR price, i'm now (...) (24 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Cleaning LEGO track

I've been using a product called Rail-Zip to clean my track. Besides cleaning, it also improves conductivity without harming the plastic track itself. Pacer Technology manufactures this and you should find these at any well-stocked hobby shop. They (...) (24 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

What did you guys pay for it???

I hope this doesn't belong in the market place! I'm sorry if it's off topic for this section, i don't know. I'm in the process of building a lego town, with a big train line circling it, actually 3 train lines. The next step in my layout design, (...) (24 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Container vs Trailer size

Actually I was thinking about the height. (sorry I did not point that out) Also the forklift piece I'm talking about was the one from the red Airplane set from mid eighties. -Jeremy (...) (24 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Container vs Trailer size

Not a 4 wide trailer! I think that a 6 wide trailer would hold a small forklift, though. Mike J.W.Hummer <mr_spin_2000@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:G0Dy0r.5pM@lugnet.com... (...) (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Container vs Trailer size

Since where on the trailer size subject. Has anyone built a forklift that would fit inside the trailer. -Jeremy www.geocities.com/spincity999 (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Cleaning? Advice

(...) You can use the metal polishing product called "Brasso" along with a cotton polishing cloth (I use old t-shirt bits), and then wash the Brasso residue off of your bricks in some combination of liquid detergent (I use "Simple Green") and water.   Re: WWLTA (was: Calling all MOCs)

(...) Right now, I doubt there is a real need to have a "WWLTC". Although some aspects of what PNLTC and GMLTC have done are not widely publicised (for example, the exact sponsorship deals that both GMLTC and PNLTC have recieved) this info is (...) Have you ever wished to get bigger trees made by Lego? Take a look here: (URL) Berg has built nice models with cute backgrounds.   Re: Help wanted with possible trains ideas book [60's]

(...) Dear Benjamin, I'm not too sure about, but maybe this is your catalogue: (URL) I'm sure the pictures you discribe have to be dated to 1966 - 67, because the blue rails have been invented in 1966 and from 1968 on most engines have been black (...)
