  Re: multi train dogbone

(...) but sometime in the near future I'd like to get some to do RCX-based projects much like this. People have said to me before that there's no good way to electrically isolate sections of track; obviously you've done that. Any secret trick? (...) (...)   multi train dogbone

Hey all, Here's something we've [1] been working on for our next show... It's a dogbone shaped track, that runs 3 trains on it at once, without collisions. It's pure LEGO, no modifications, and needs only one RCX. The center section of track (...) (24 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Black LEGO Crocodile Train

Recently I built a black and grey version of the LEGO Crocodile Engine. Since one of the key pieces (the front window element) isn't available in black, I had to make a few modifications to make it work out. Here are the results: (URL) also posted a (...)   Re: best train set for starting out

(...) Curt, Set 4565 is definitely the way to go. I've recently discovered LEGO trains, and bought 4559 first. Hard to make freight equipment out of that set, managed to make a 'critter' and a pair of depressed-center flatcars, but that's it. Since (...) (24 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: The Spamcake Diner

(...) I hate to do this, but I'll do a DAT file when I get back from vacation in a week. It's late right now, and my brain won't let me use all the words and logic I'd need to explain it, and I leave in the morning. My apologies. It would indeed be (...) (...) I've got two concerts and a BBQ in between on Sept. 2...that's not a great day for getting new folk in, as it's a holiday weekend. Can we do two - one on 9/2 and one on 9/23, even if 9/23 only uses half the room?? Paul Sinasohn (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.trains)
