Robin, It looks like Tallahassee is about 6 hours from New Orleans. I bet that is the closest you will get to New Orleans. When is the GATS show? Maybe I can meet you there? (...) Hi Jimmy, the main problem in getting a 7722 bigger is the old type 4,5V motor. With this high type motor it is nearly impossible to create something with bogie plates without making a awful appearence. Maybe you have the chance to get parts (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

The big question remaining after this shocking news is, will BNSF+CN merge with CSX or NS, as those are the two remaining eastern roads.
