(...) Thanks Ben I tried out the 1x1 slopes. It definitely helps smooth things out more. The cab interior still needs a bit of work. I,m not quite happy with the detailing yet. As background, the Hi has three sets of wheels, I chose to fix the pilot truck and the drivers to the boiler, using only one set of flanged drivers. Without reworking the whole mechanics, (...) (...) I used the the little LEGO wheels; the small BBB wheels weren't available yet, and the little wheels allow me to keep the wheels from interfering with the cylinder and pistons. I think they look a little small, but they're OK for the time (...) (17 years ago, 24-Nov-07, to lugnet.trains)
